    OR,
You do not fool any of us. I'll bet you are glued to the SyFy Channel right now. Did you catch the Saturday night movie "Dinocroc vs T Rex." You can watch "Lost Island" next time it aires. It is an island of living dinosaurs, not an island of unsaved people.

    Then I sincerely apologize.

It's not up to me to tell anyone what to do, but remember the words of Jesus who said "render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."

Pray and ask for guidance, but don't look to me for answers. We're to follow the laws of government (powers appointed over us while in the flesh), to the point that it doesn't interfere with the laws of God. That's why Jesus told them it was (basically) okay to give tribute to Caesar.

If you feel compelled to vote for someone or something after praying and reading the bible, then who am I to tell you not to? I just haven't felt compelled to vote for anything or anyone. In fact, I am probably going to write-in my vote for president this year, and I will write-in "Jesus". But that's just me.

Call evil out for what it is and use the authority of Jesus Christ to do it, but yes, Revelation 22:11 says that we're supposed to "just let evil have its way". We're not to be judges of each other; "Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone," and "turn the other cheek". Leave the rest up to God.

Let evil try to regulate itself without the benefit of God. It will always miserably fail, just as it always has.

    Fair enough.

I'm curious: Did you and Zaac come over here from a message board in which you and he have had previous conversations? Both of you appear about the same time, espousing the same message; if there's some other message board that y'all have been conversing on, would it be too much of me to ask where? (You could send it to me in a private message) Or I may be completely off the wall, and it's simply a coincidence.

The main reason I disagree is because the verses around 22:11 indicate that we're talking the end of time, and who may enter the city at the end. In order to take the viewpoint you're espousing, we must necessarily agree that we're at the point where what we do, who we preach to, doesn't matter any more because it's too late; and yet, verse 17 indicates we mere puny humans should be preaching even unto the last breath, in order to reach the "whosoever will."

But, as Zaac has pointed out in some earlier posts, we are also to judge righteous judment. The difference being, what you posted was about hypocritical judgment; finding fault in others without regard for our own (or worse, finding fault in others while ignoring that we have the same fault ourselves). And let us not forget that the passage referenced by the "Let he who is without sin" was a trap set by the Pharisees and scribes; the situation wasn't about not identifying sin, but about hypocritical judgment and punishment.

You'll also recall that "turn the other cheek" was given to us with the preamble: "Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth." In other words, don't repay evil with evil. Don't seek revenge. Instead, do as we're told in Romans 12:20-21, and overcome evil with good.

Totally agreed that it will always fail miserably. But I also have to ask: Does God ever use people to see evil fail? If so, could you or I--or both of us--possibly be used by Him?

I'm reminded of 1 Corinthians 12, and Romans 12, and Ephesians 4, which all tell us that none of us are the same; that we are all given differing gifts and abilities to be used in conjunction with all the others to glorify Him; and that none are better or more comely or more important than any of the others. In other words, I don't mind what you're saying at all; and I encourage you to continue to speak out about what you know about all the different little pieces of the puzzle going on in the background that most of us don't realize are slowly coming together. But at the same time, I recommend you encourage all the others with differing gifts than yours, in order for us all to work together towards the same goal.

The only affiliation Zaac and I share, is that of Jesus. We don't know each other, but I also don't think it is a coincidence. More and more people are waking up to the fact that... Things are not what they seem to be. Things like UFOs and "aliens", and everything that I've already talked about in this thread, are more important than the outward appearance of "politics".

It is all a spiritual deception, simply to get us to doubt God.

We agree, but we're arguing about it in a different way. Preach, reprove, instruct... But how shall we impose our biblical views upon people who refuse to believe God or Satan even exists? Why do we make it a personal charge to pass laws under the force of government, as if somehow this will change a person from within?

I used the "let he who is without sin" verse to try and show you what I mean when I say that voting doesn't matter. Voting is the proverbial casting of stones. We vote for laws, like the death penality, to try and pawn off our responsibility as Christians to try and change people from within by teaching them about God. We effectively make ourselves judges as to who is fit to live and die. I don't have any problem with putting someone in prison for life, if it means at the end of their life while sitting in a cell that they finally admit they were wrong and accept Jesus.

And speaking of the death penality, did you know that quite frequently, innocent people ARE put to death despite the evidence against them? Things like DNA testing which came later, has proven the innocence of people long dead who were wrongly accused. God saved Lot by sending him angels to warn him of what God was going to do to the city. Only God knows who is righteous, and who is guilty of sin.

Yup. But how is voting going to change that?

I was going to vote for Ron Paul, but he dropped out of the race. I wouldn't be surprised if he got death threats in order to force him out, which is all the reason more that I should vote for him... But I see now that putting my trust in any man isn't going to work, no matter how great they may seem to be.

Who can stand in opposition to God, and live? No one! The Word of God is even in the mouth of His rebelious children!

These gifts that God gave us can be corrupted by the lies of Satan. God allows it, so they who wish to do things their way, are deceived by the lies themselves. No one would tell a lie if they weren't first convinced that a lie was truth, hence why it is written that men would rather live in darkness than live in the light.

    2 Corinthians 11:
"12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

I would hope that you see that affiliation with others here on this message board, too.

This is a strange statement. I may vote for a man, but that doesn't mean I "put my trust in" him. Instead, I pray and place faith in God that He'll use the man to work His will. Does that make sense?

While I can see how that would answer my question in one fashion, would you mind being a little more direct? Do you believe that God is using you to do a work, even as you write these things to us?

I don't doubt it one bit. But you mistake my sincere and utmost urgency of the message I want to convey, for that of something along the lines of "holier than thou" as has been said -- (either by you or someone else, and honestly I don't remember, and I am being lazy and not going back to look who exactly it was who said it, lol). It just is not true. If I'm the one being deceived, then you have an obligation as a fellow Christian, to correct me in the error of my ways. Don't expect me to do any less.

We may believe that Jesus is Messiah, but all this arguing and divisions among us, is hurting us spiritually. Satan is loving it, I'm sure.

And yet we vote in the hopes that the person who we vote for will change things for the better? That's a lot of trust to put in one person.

Then pray for Obama, too? Pray, pray, and pray some more, because we sure do need it. I just pray that whoever gets elected, they serve God and nothing else, but I know in near certainty that will not happen. The "enlightened" founding fathers included the separation of church and state for a reason!

"And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?" - Revelation 13:4.

    Absolutely.

I am not ashamed to admit that I am trying to wake people up to the evil within our own government, and that government itself is effectively pointless. It goes along the lines that we hold the traditions of men (government) over the Word of God. If you don't see that connection, then I pray that one day you do, but I will never tell you that you're wrong or going to go to hell for what you're doing. I have no idea what God's purpose is for you and what you're doing. But as I said earlier, I would expect no less from you if you were trying to tell me something imporant.

You lied about your intentions in your very first post and have been proving it ever since.

I think you are a troll. You have another agenda.

No I didn't. I clearly stated that I wanted to express my views that government/politics is [effectively] pointless, and haven't really deviated from that.

Then by all means, prove it.

But you haven't refuted a single thing I've said. You've only made fun of me, talked about how crazy I am, and that I need pixie dust to breathe air "that thin". Nothing of substance what-so-ever.

Why do you defend government with such fervor? What is it about the United States government that is so special, that makes you honor and defend it, even if it is CLEARLY going in the wrong direction? Even to the point of insulting me, without reason? And what exactly is my "agenda"? Am I asking for money? For you to write my name in for president? Did I ever say that I'm here to solve all your problems? Do I have all the answers? Am I demanding worship and praise?

You figure it out, and believe whatever your little heart desires.

    Couple questions for Ceegen.

    What is rightfully Caesar's?

In the United States the constitution spells out exactly what rightfully belongs to Caesar. We owe him nothing more.

Who was Jesus speaking to when He said "turn the other cheek"?

Slaves and poor people the under class. In that day and age turning the other cheek would be met with painful punishment because it was an act of defiance to those who claimed to be superior.

Did you know that if a Roman soldier made a native person in an occupied land carry his pack for more than one mile he would be punished by his superiors? Roman roads had mile markers.

    Two words . . . historical context.

The words Jesus speaks stands for all time. (Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33).

Historical context matters, up to a point. If we can't apply the teachings of Jesus in today's day and age, then what use is the bible since it was all written in times past?

Also, I don't think that Jesus was telling us to insult people when He said to turn the other cheek. I think it was more of an example of righteousness, that you take the high road and not fight back. Fighting back only causes people to look at that and say, "Oh them darn Christians, being violent again! LOL!" (As I see on many comments on message boards, or on news articles).

Caesar represented the government. Caesar was the incarnation of government. Thus, render to the government what is government's.

"I am the state." - Louis XIV.

I read the NIST and FEMA reports for a college paper I wrote. One of my sources is from a professional engineer, Jon Cole, who made this relatively short video (Approx. 15 minutes):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qamecech9m4

It details the difference between "thermite" and "thermate", and how it is (at the very least) possible that a thermitic material was used in the destruction of the twin towers.

If you want to start a thread about 09/11, please start another thread. There are some other facts you need to know about 09/11 but this is not the thread for that.

    And please quit de-railing.

    Thanks,

But, it's my thread? I'm only responding to what other posters have been asking (derailing...), and if I make a thread for every subject, I'd be spamming. But if that's the case, then I will post another thread about 9-11.

Where have I suggested one form of government over another, or one political party over another, or one economic model over another, etc....?

You saying that I have, doesn't make it so. In fact, you quoted me twice, both expressing how disinterested in politics that I really am.

That doesn't mean I am interested in politics itself. I just wish to illustrate the absurdity of it all. There is no difference in the two major political parties. They don't stick to an ideology, they just say and do anything to get power.

Up here in the Maine GOP primaries, 15% of the vote was thrown out. That 15% was coincidently the districts that Ron Paul was predicted to, and did, win. The establishment Republicans essentially cheated Paul of his win up here in Maine, and in other states. They don't want a real person to win, they just want "their guy" in office. Rules and regulations don't matter to these people, and it isn't like Democrats are any better.

And there is a biblical reason for it all, but it seems no one wants to make that connection. We'd rather argue about who's right and who's wrong, which is pointless.

Uh yes it does at some level.

What you have demonstrated as absurd is your poor logic and poor attempt to discuss these issues.

When you keep making overstatements like this you just bring your credibility down even lower.

    See previous response.

And here is the rub, you are a RP worshiper and since he did not get nominated you want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Typical RP supported response.

It is right for people who work and labor to keep more of their own money. It is right for people to decide on their own where benevolence should go. It is right to have less government. It is right to allow unborn children not to be torn apart limb by limb in the womb.

It is wrong for government to control so much of our lives that we work mainly to pay taxes and have the government control so much of our money. It is wrong to be dependent on the government. It is wrong to murder babies.

So there is right and wrong in politics and there is a difference in the two parties. But I would not expect an RP supporter to open up their crazed eyes and even care.

That I speak out against it? Then in that respect, yes.

    Insults with no backing...

What difference is there? They're both ruled, or at the very least influenced to a great degree, by powerful people.

Wrong. I've already stated that, yes I would have voted for Ron Paul if he were to get the nomination, but he didn't. Why he didn't get the nomination is proof that our system of government is totally broken. It's just a game to these people. Romney and his supporters were the ones that snubbed him of his wins in multiple states. Maine being one of them, where I live, didn't get a whole lot of coverage on the corruption that went on up here.

I have a friend who went to the Republican convention in Augusta, who saw first hand what the Romney people were doing. They were distributing phoney ballots (among other things):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcgOuuM1VkM

And in Nevada, pretty much the same thing happened:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHHQKo5EshU

And there was a paltry news coverage of it in other states and the ones I already listed, but the reports mostly try to downplay the events as sporadic or isolated; ie, not imporant enough to raise a big fuss about blatent stealing of an election (even if only primaries/delegates).

I agree, but the GOP doesn't stand for those things any more. Don't vote along party lines. Don't blindly defend the GOP or DNC. Going from one "extreme" to the other, hasn't solved anything.

I think you meant "not right". But, you can't enforce morality upon people who have none in the first place. They love themselves and hate God. I agree that abortion should be illegal, but that isn't going to stop people from getting one, sadly. As Christians, we should be educating these people why they shouldn't get one and hope and pray they don't, not just simply trying to pass laws about it.

And yet, it goes on as planned. Why is that?

There isn't a difference. They only pretend to be different for the sake of pitting one group of Americans against another, simply to keep you distracted of what is really going on. It's like "professional" wrestling.

    The American Form of Government:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-dhK9GHzPI
This short (10 minute) video clearly illustrates the false "right vs left" political scale that we are duped into believing. Also shows the difference between a democracy and a republic, (for those who think America is a democracy...).

We are going the way of Rome, and allowing "elected" leaders to become more like dictators. It is a planned affair, but seeing the connections means you might have to "unlearn" all the propaganda that is constantly spewed out of the mass media, which is all controlled by the same groups of people. Things aren't changing no matter who is getting "elected" to office, and why is that?
