Thou shall not murder.
Simple and direct, it is God's word.
Anyone who votes for candidates that support the murder of children in their mother's womb, is a murderer and pro-abortion.
Some say that they are not ashamed to stand before God and justify their partial pro-abortion stance.
IMHO They might as say they are not ashamed to spit in God's face.
In fact, I think when we are held accountable, heads will be hung in dire shame on many counts.
Supporting any type of abortion is not God's will.
If it is not God's will then it must be~~ well we are smart enough to figure that one out since there is no gray areas,
simply for or against.
I will continue to pray for those who have been mislead to think that there is any excuse for the murder of children in their mother's womb.
We are called to a higher standard in protecting life than comparing Republicans and Democrats on this issue.
Superficial efforts by the Republicans is marginally better than the Democrats who push the agenda.
The point is, the slaughter continues through both types of administrations.
For the last eight years, six of which were with a Republican Congress, bills could have been passed to stop or limit abortions, or to return the power to the states.
Then the new law could have gone before the Supreme Court to see if they ruled it to be constitutional.
If the Court rejected the law, then another could have been fashioned around the restrictions of the ruling and tried again.
Nothing was done.
President Bush does deserve credit for his two appointments to the Supreme Court.
Evidence suggests that they will stick with their conservative principles.
As a poster suggested above, two of the Republican nominees, Suiter and Kennedy, have been disasters.
Oh...
so then I shouldn't pray that the next President doesn't do anything to expand the number of abortions performed in our country and around the world?
That was not worded well.
There is nothing wrong with praying as you say.
I think we need to make sure we pray for our leaders in all areas, and make sure it is God's will and not our agenda.
I was thinking in broader terms than one issue when I typed that quote and have deleted it.
My error.
No you're not. Since abortion is legal in this country, God is currently the only Judge that matters. Fortunately God knows the heart and intentions of the voters and will judge according to righteous knowledge and truth.
There's all kinds of scenarios where the only two candidates are both pro-choice and the voter HAS to choose their candidate on the basis of other factors. Furthermore, there are an abundance of "pro-life" candidates who won't lift a finger to do anything that might reduce the number of abortions in the United States and actually try to pass laws that make it more economically/socially difficult for unwed mothers to raise children.
By the same token, there are "pro-choice" candidates who are interested in creating circumstances for unwed mothers which would make it more likely for them not to abort their children.
We've had 35 years of the "pro-life" movement in the U.S. and very little to show for it except a bunch of politicians using the words "pro-life" as a shibboleth to get elected.
No wonder many voters look past the stated position of the candidates to figure out what they have actually done or will do while in office.
I can see that the abortion mills will be back and running by the new President. McCain and Palin just wasn't able to win this election because of the news channels. Someone wanted Obana in office and how he always had all the money is kinda strange to me. I cannot remember any candidate always having the ready funds and spent so much money. I don't know what all these changes he says he is gonna do, but you can bet it won't be good for the common people or christains. The Rowe Vs Wade will not be of any importance to them to try to change it. There is two places mention in the BIble about Raechel weeping for her children and was not conforted because they are not. For several years now it ihas seems that Raechel is still again weeping
for her children
and will not be conforted for they are not.
Yes.
The country is in a crisis but I do believe we should always pray for our leaders.
Did you pray for President Clinton while he was being impeached?
Your logic is screwed up.
A woman had a choice whether she would go to a back alley murderer and butcher.
An unborn child has no choice.
:tear: :tear: :tear:
Face reality, mate. The woman had no choice for her self-imposed dilemma. We are not all following the same moral values, and we have to realize that. We are in the real world.
"lets make assisted suicide legal in order to cut down on gruesome shotgun blasts to peoples head, that their children sometimes have to see"
or how about
"Lets make resisting a thief illegal, that way less people will be killed by them. I mean they won't kill them if they don't argue, right?"
or maybe
"We should make prostitution legal that would probably cut down on the amount of rape cases"
I simply fail to see the logic, while I know you won't agree with these statements they are where the logic of "lets allow one evil to slow down another" leads.
All I hear is you basically saying that you don't wont women "butchered" in back allies, but if they do it in a "clinic" that is OK. I know thats not what your saying but it's what im hearing.
