Well, at least 5 of the first 6 aren't weird, although the cheese on pumpkin pie probably is.

    Cheese on apple pie? Yep!

On pumpkin pie? Naw!! That's what they make whipped cream for!

The last two are definitely weird!

Either way!! Navy or Great Northern beans are just as good as the pintos, if any of 'em is cooked with ham.
You gotta' be kiddin'! Health food store to get beans??

I don't aim to eat nuthin' from no health food store!

It was also bothersome with all the splinters between my teeth. I thought it redundant to use a toothpick to get the splinters out from between my teeth.

I like ketchup with my fried chicken
I like peanut butter and pickle sandwiches

I have a cousin who when she was a kid, she would take her bologna and mustard sandwich and dip it in her strawberry kool-aid

Another cousin would eat BBQ chips dipped in buttermilk

My mom and dad like pinto beans, cornbread, onions, and buttermilk mixed together

My uncle and his son would eat syrup with their pinto beans

I LOVE Pig's feet, Pig's ears, and Ham hocks cook together...YUMMMMMYYY!!
I also love pickled Pig's feet......I even drink the juice out of the jar!! YUMMMM!!

I had an uncle who liked hot chicken gravy on pancakes, and waffles. That was a taste that I never acquired.

When I was a boy, when we got a bottle of pop or soda, which was not very often, we would not remove the lid, but take a nail and drive a hole in it, so we couldn't drink it too fast. It lasted much longer that way............:)

Anyone on here eat squirrel and gravy when growing up?

Chow-chow is one type of homemade pickle relish, I believe. I didn't mention any pickles for that reason. My personal favorite is homemade ripe tomato relish, with green tomato relish, chow-chow, and corn relish following closely, in that order. If one wants to PM me, I will gladly send them our longstanding family recipes for the first two, that come through at least three or four generations, and date to over 100 years.

No, but I cook wild rabbit sometimes, especially if I find it in the garden. It cooks like chicken, but tastes slightly different.

I drink my Pepsi at room temperature, rather than from the refrigerator. And I drink water straight from the tap, as well.

Well, after getting it into a glass, you see.

LOL! Not as much as you might think! They may look different going in the oven, not so much coming out!
