RE: Odd eating habits
I accidently found out that chicken nuggets and mustard are actually pretty good! I thought my wife had made some mini corndogs(shaped like a ball). So I got some out one night and starting dipping them in mustard. I realized they were chicken nuggets...but they were good, nonetheless. -

I ate red chili and white chocolate ice cream here in our town.

Don't you mean Killroy, not Gilroy Garlic Festival? Man that sounds nasty!! -
The chili and chocolate ice cream was surprisingly good. The hot peppers gave an interesting "twang" with the white chocolate flavour. They make all the ice cream on and I tried to order it recently, but they told me there wasn't enough demand to warrant making it :).

Don't knock it until you've tried it. I expected it to be terrible, too, but it was wonderful.
I also sampled some garlic wine while I was there, and that WAS terrible. Ewww. -
Mmmm...yes that was tasty garlic ice cream we sampled at the Gilroy Garlic Festival too.
The whole town smells of garlic.
Within maybe 5 miles, is a wonderful theme park. It is very wholesome, nothing inappropriate displayed in the whole park. -
