When radio first began to spread (think 1920's) there was discussion on how it would spread evil, destroy morals, lead to dancing :) and other detrimental actions. BUT . . . when they realized the BENEFITS of radio for spreading the Gospel most adapted. Same has happened to television, with various Christian programs and Christian networks,

Seems every new tech advance is immediately condemned, seeing the potential for evil is ALWAYS easier for us preachers!! ;) ;)

I've subscribed to Pureflix (Christian Netflix, basically), as it features lots of faith-based programming, and I think it's necessary that we build a parallel economy and entertainment structure for ourselves, as Hollywood abandoned traditional values long ago.

If we can spread God's word through as many mediums as possible, I see that as a good and necessary thing. Messages are being sent to the public and our children all day, every day, whether we like it or not. I pray that we are able to occupy more of that bandwidth.

A little tidbit. My wife grew up with David White's family (David is the founder of Pure Flix) and is still friends with David's older sister.
I am not subscribed to Pure Flix. I have watched a few of the "God is not Dead" films, but their theology on salvation is cringy for me so I watch and cringe at the bad theology. This seems to be a pattern as David White grew up as a Mennonite Brethren, which is free will in its theology.

While i believe Lester Roloff was a true Christian, he had some false doctrines which he believed, (The Old Testament dietary laws are still correct & in force, water is better for an ill person than most medicines, the KJVO myth) but his worst & most-hypocritical was that the TV was an evil device, used only by sinners. (YET, HE NEVER SAID A BAD WORD ABOUT RADIO ! !)
