The nation of Israel is antichrist...

You are looking at Israel in the wrong light.
Read Ezekiel chapters 36,37 and 38. The Jews you descibe are there but something else is taking place.
Read Romans chapter 11. See what Paul had to say about Israel.

Look at modern history and ask yourself why is the whole world against this little nation that right now is no larger than the state of New Jersy. Look at the Three (3) super powers that came out of World War II who is left and what is the difference between the one(1) power left and the two(2) powers that are no more.

#1--Degree of freedom allowed in the country!

Apparently God always blesses freedom of religion. Curses those gov'ts that attempt to supress Christianity.

Great Britian blockaded "Palistine" to restrict Jews attempting to immigrate there to appease the Arabs she is no longer considered a super power. The Soviet Union Trained, armed and supply the Arab countries opposing the new country of Israel the Soviet Union no longer exist. Israel had only one ally, The United States, who can deny that this county is truly blessed.

Genesis 12:3 - God placed a blessing on those who blessed Abraham (county of Israel) and a curse on those who cursed Abraham (county of Israel).

Genesis 12:3 is understood in Christ. Those who embrace Christ (Abraham's greatest Son), will be blessed. The reverse is true for those who curse him.

Not coincidentaly, Israel curses Christ. Guess what that means?

I think it has to do with our republican system of government and our capitialist economic system and our individual liberty, which are indeed blessings from God.

Oh, yes they are. America is blessed apart from Christ. America is a wicked nation, we are just as wicked a nation as the Great Whore in Revelation. We even have leaders who say Allah is the same God as the REAL God, we have made deals with wicked and ungodly nations all for the mighty $$$, secular humanism and evolution and even Islam is taught in our schools, we have millions of people hooked on drugs and illicit sex, spouse swapping, homosexuality, millions who deny the very existance of God, we have some who worship trees and practice witchcraft, our children are filled with violence, sorcery, and murder from our wicked movies, video games, and television, and we murder approximately 3500 innocent unborn babies every day...

but America is blessed apart from Christ. (Only because of His elect and because we have stood by the little nation of Israel do we continue in God's blessings.)

God has His elect in the nation of Israel, too. There will be 144,000 in Israel who are His elect, just to name a few.

So, DD, America is blessed even though we have rejected Christ as a nation.

If, in your opinion, the Nation of Israel is Anti-Christ, well, so is the Nation of the United States Anti-Christ.

Nations are not antiChrist, only people can be antiChrist. 1 John talks about people being that, not nations.

Personally, I am opposed to any foreign aid to any other country, including the modern political state of Israel. Foreign aid is unconstitutional. The federal government has no constitutional right to give taxpayer money to another country.

The author of the initial post refers to the majority of ethnic Israel. I take that to include Jews worldwide, not just the ones living in the modern political state of Israel. Most Jews do not live there. Therefore, it doesn't sound like he is only talking about those living within certain territorial boundaries or even 100% of ethnic Jews. It sounds like he is talking about those Jews(regardless of where they live) that reject Jesus which makes them no better off than Gentiles who reject Jesus.

All who reject Christ as Lord and Savior be they Jew or Gentile (that includes all of islam)have the spirit of anti-christ.There is no nuetral territory.

It is just so sad that Christians believe we worship the same God of the Jews, that Israel enjoys God's blessings right now, etc.

Abraham does not equal Israel. So the Genesis 12 reference is laughable.

the above is a VERY big statement. Do not be so quick to condemn all of Judaism. Jesus says that the Pharisees "sit in Moses' seat" and to obey them. In Luke, He is continually in table-fellowship with them, while in Acts, every reference to Pharisees is positive.
Clearly, there were hypocrits among them, the Talmud likewise contains seven woes of the Pharisees, and also condemns their hypocracy, but that is not the complete picture.

Paul states at the end of Acts that he IS a Pharisee (not was a Pharisee), and quotes Gamaliel to pagans in Acts 14. So being a Pharisee did not require being anti-Jesus.

When James was killed by the Saducees, it was the Pharisees who protested his death to Agrippa, Josephus recording this as one of the triggers to the Jewish war. That is, the picture is far from the total bad that you suggest.

Unlike Saudi Arabia, it is not illegal to be a Christian in Israel, where there is freedom of religion. Israeli congregations of believers exist and are growing in many Israeli towns. Given that states such as communist China have atheism as a major plank in their self-definition, the charge that the Jewish state is "the" anti-Christ does seem ungenerous, innacurate and unhelpful.

I did not say that Israel is "the" antichrist, or even the most antichrist of any nation. Rather that the government of Israel has espoused an official position which opposes the spread of the gospel. Surely you must agree, such a position is against Christ.

As far as your pro-Pharisee position goes--I think it's a real stretch, especially considering the context of several of the verses you cite.

I realize that many Christians feel a great affinity for the Jewish people. That's fine. But let's not defend any govermnment who is interested in restricting Christianity.

We had better defend our government, but not the attempts of communism and Marxism to take it over.

Some just can't quite understand our government is slowly being eroded away due to the attempted marxist and communistic take over. While they are being lulled to sleep by the philosophies being promoted by Marxism, some of us are fighting tooth and nail against it, yet being condemned, called hateful, uncaring, false preachers, etc. by our very own.

Now to call a nation "anti-christ" is misleading, but to call the philosophies of any nation that is right.Wouldn't we all agree Marxism and communism, as well as socialism are "anti-christ" philosophies? Don't they tear down our inaliable rights to freedom and liberty? Those rights deemed to us by our Sovereign? These idiots that want to hand our soveriegnty as a nation over to the UN, YOU'RE NUTS!

Dean said before he would act in defense of our country he would first asked the UN if that is alright with them. :mad: Talking about anti-christ? We have Americans, well they try to convince us they are Americans, that will back up a man like that and attempt to vote him in as president.

Some will even dare to say, "Wait a minute, you're mixing church and state, politics and religion." Get your head out of the sand and quit letting the anti-christ rule over you detracting you from what is right, not what somebody else thinks is right.

The personification of the nation of Israel to call it anti-christ is wrong, but if the allegations are correct they are as a government denying Christianity, thus denying Christ, that government is anti-christ, not the enitre nation of people.

Just a little note for my fellow Americans, If you don't get out and vote don't call yourself a Christian, even less, if you don't vote according to your Christian duty to stamp out what is definitely anti-christ, hand over your Bibles and bow down, never calling yourselves Christian again. Our government isn't anti-christ yet, but how long before it is, if we don't vote?

I got patriotic when I got saved, something I wasn't before. I had never even voted before, didn't think my vote really mattered, and I got saved at 32. Been voting ever since! That ought to strike real deep for some who read this, and I sincerely hope it does.

If we don't stand, we'll simply fall. Who wants to hit the ground first? I'd rather die standing, than fall for so many things being promoted in this country today!

Israel doesn't restrict Christianity as far as I know, but there are many in the USA who are working towards that end - to restrict Christianity! And some of those are ones who call themselves Christians!

We had better wake up before it's too late!
