It wasn't meant to be directed to Calvinists at all, as that is not what this thread is about. FAL's "remedies" are directed only to the saved. His remedy for the saved (and their emotional problems) is "get saved." It is evident that not everyone is going to be saved, but any spiritual leader must be prepared to deal with the problems of the unsaved whether they get saved or not. He cannot simply repeat "Get saved" to everyone he meats. Problems must be met for many prior to being saved. If there is no compassion concerning the unsaved how on earth would one expect them to get saved?

What is false? When a passage is pointed out that Jesus cast a demon out of an epileptic you denied the passage even though the very word was in the passage!! That is a state of denial.
You are therefore unwilling to admit that some ailments are caused by demon-possession, even mental ailments, though there are clear cases of it in the Bible. You simply deny the evidence.
You also would not dare to get involved in spiritual warfare. You wouldn't know what to do with one who is demon-possessed. You offered no real solution to one with such a problem. It was as if you really didn't care.

Now if those things be true, what about others?
What about others who have real physical problems caused by mental distress like stress? Have you ever taken Tylenol or Aspirin?
Do you get headaches? What do you take for your headaches, and why?

What did they do for headaches in the first century, in the time of Christ?
Do you follow the advice of Jesus? of Paul? Or do you rely on Tylenol or aspirin?

    Hi Ann...

Spend a lot of time posting with a pack of calvinists and you cant possibly miss it.

On the other hand, if you are a calvinist you may not notice it at all. :wavey:

I CAN say, if you are a calvinist, I dont recall ever reading any post from you that "way out there"... in "desolation land" ...like the others.

You are answering for FAL. He won't answer for himself.
The question for him to answer is: What does he do for a headache?
What does he take for a headache? Aspirin? Tylenol?
How often does he get headaches?

He has never answered these questions.

No, I'm not way out there but I don't believe the other Calvinists here are either. I've not read of one who believes evangelism is useless or anything like that.

Those questions have nothing to do with the topic.
