Osas?
God warns us in many scriptures that we can lose our salvation.
These scriptures show us plainly and simply that God can cut us off.
Roman11:17-22
17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root,
18 do not boast over those branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.
19 You will say then, "Branches were broken... -
Regeneration and Faith
What is the order in salvation of regeneration and faith. Please use Scripture to defend your view. Here is the explanations of what I believe the different views are.
Regeneration chronologically precedes faith.
A person can be regeneration but not have faith for some period of time.
Regeneration logically precedes faith but not chronologically.
while they happen at the same time, logically regeneration precedes faith.
Regeneration and faith happen at the same time.

Hebrews 6:4-8
Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes oft on it, and brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it... -

Wine in the first century
Somebody mentioned a thread on wine. It got me thinking about a preacher I recently heard stating that there was no alcohol in the wine Jesus made during His first recorded miracle.
However, I do have a problem with the statements made about serving the "good wine first" and the "bad wine last". It is obvious that this was a wedding party and there was alcohol in the wine and from my interpretation, "Good wine" was served after the guest was drunk enough not to pay much attention to the... -
Do non-cals believe in omniscience?
I know the answer brethren and sisters. For the vast majority of you, the answer is an emphatic YES!
Most of us, Calvinists and Arminians and other orthodox Christians, believe that God has always known all there is to ever know about everything.
God has never learned anything because he has always known all there is to ever know.
God sees the future as clearly as he sees the present and the past and he has always known everything that would ever happen.
Because we all believe this,... -
Justified while Ungodly !
Rom 4:4-5
4Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
That those whom Christ died for are Justified before believing, which pleases God [Heb 11:6] is evident from the fact that God Justifieth the Ungodly ! The word Justify here is in the present tense, denoting He was or is Justifying the Ungodly, while they are or were The Ungodly.... -
Can demons become real people?
This is a interesting question. I know that demons can posses false converts and the unsaved. They can influence Christians, and according to some theologians (Erwin Lutzer & Tim Layhe) demons can appear as actual people, just as what you see when you watch a certain episode in the X-files Season 8. I am not sure of all the passages that Lutzer and Layhe use to back up that theology. So the question is can they be people?
Once I was out street witnessing and encountered a man that was not... -
