Yes your posts make no sense here. Please show how HEBREWS 6:4-8; HEBREWS 10:26-39 are not in reference to those who were "ONCE BELIEVERS" and falll away and depart the faith. You haven't shown this at all in any of your posts. HEBREWS 6:4-8 is a WARNING to BELIEVERS not to fall away back into known unrepentant sin to become unbelievers. This was demonstrated scripture by scriptures in this post here that shows HEBREWS 6:4-8 and HEBREWS 10:26-39 are WARNING to believers not to depart the faith after given a knowledge of the truth. If you can, please make your case. No one has so far. If you cannot why not believe God's Word?

    * "When Adam and Eve, by an act of willful transgression, broke the condition of the covenant under which they had been placed, they incurred the double guilt of disbelieving God’s word and defying His will.

"Thereby they forfeited the promiseof life and brought upon themselves the penalty of death.

"That one act of theirs completely changed their relation to God and, at the same time, reversed their feelings toward Him.

"They were no longer the objects of His favor, but instead the subjects of His wrath.

"As the effect of their sinfulness and the result of their spiritual death, the Lord God ceased to be the object of their love and confidence, and had become the object of their aversion and distrust.

"A sense of degradation and of God’s displeasure filled them with fright and caused them to have awful enmity against Him.

"So swift and drastic was the change which sin produced in their relations and feelings toward their Maker that they were ashamed and afraid to appear before Him.

"As soon as they heard His voice in the garden, they fled in horror and terror, seeking to hide from Him among the trees.

"They dreaded to bear Him pronounce formal sentence of condemnation upon them, for they knew in themselves that they deserved it." *

Alan, your quoting something out of an online website that has nothing to do with what we are talking about or does not relate to my post you are trying to address.

“by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation” ( Romans 5:18).

    Condemned souls are condemned.

    All souls are condemned.

All souls are condemned and condemned souls are condemned. All of them. Every one.

    Condemned by condemnation.

“by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation” ( Romans 5:18).

Indeed, now what has this got to do with what we are discussing in HEBREWS 6:4-8?

Those warnings do not explain what that promise means.

So again you repeated what we disagree on.

Are you not interested in persuading me, or do you only wish to be antaganistic?

I have been a Bible believer since 1962. An have been persuaded to change my view point at least 5 times over the years.

Arguing over what has multiple issues does not persuade anyone. One has to deal one issue at a time. And start with something one seems to agree upon. Hebrews 10:17 is for the believer.

    * "It was a divinely instituted law of the original creation that like should produce like, which plainly appears in that clause “whose seed is in itself” ( Genesis 1:11-12), and in that oft repeated expression “after his kind” (vv. 21, 24, 25).

"That law has never been revoked—as the biology of every department of nature demonstrates.

"Hence it follows that since the whole human race sinned in its covenant head, and since every member of it receives its nature from him, when the fountain itself became polluted, all the streams issuing from it were polluted too.

"A corrupt tree can bring forth nothing but corrupt fruit.

"Since the root became unholy, its branches must also be unholy.

"All of Adam’s offspring simply perpetuate what began in him; from the first moment of their existence they become participants of his impurity.

"Though our immediate parents are the occasion of conveying a depraved nature to their children, that nature is derived originally from the first man.

"In other words, the present relation of father and son is not that of cause and effect, but that of an instrument or channel in transmitting the sinfulness of Adam and Eve.

"In Genesis 5:3 we are told, “Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image.” *

    ...

Adam did not 'begat a son',

    AFTER THE IMAGE OF GOD.

    * “In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him.”

"Adam did not communicate to his descendants the pure nature which he had originally by creation, but the polluted one which he acquired by the fall.

"It is very striking to note the precise place where this statement is made in the sacred narrative: not at the beginning of Genesis 4 in connection with the begetting of Cain and Abel, but here, introducing a lengthy obituary list— showing that dying Adam could only beget mortals.

"The image of God included both holiness and immortality, but since Adam had lost them and become sinful and mortal, he could propagate none but those in his own fallen likeness, which had in it corruption and death ( 1 Corinthians 15:49-50; cf. v.22).

"The copy answered to the original.

"Adam could not beget in any other way than in his own image, for a clean thing will not issue from an unclean.

"A depraved parent could produce nothing but a depraved child." *

All your post here does is completely ignore the post you were quoting from or does it address anything in the post written to you. Is there are reason for this? Where did I say in the post you are responding to and the scriptures provided in it that HEBREWS 10:17 was not for believers?

"We are subject to mortality because we were “in Adam” by federal representation—we share his fallen nature because we share in his guilt and punishment.

"We are born into this world neither as innocent creatures nor to enter upon our probation.

"Rather we come into it as culprits condemned to death by the divine law.

"Every man, woman and child is judged guilty before God.

"The ground of our condemnation is something outside ourselves.

"Inward corruption and alienation from God are the consequence and not the cause of our condemnation.

"Antecedent to any personal act of ours (as such), we stand accursed by the divine law.

"Since “death” came as the result of “sin” because it is the penal sentence on it, that sentence cannot be passed on any except those who are guilty.

"If, then, death was “passed upon all men,” it must be because all are guilty, all participated legally in Adam’s offense." *

    *from: CHAPTER - IMPUTATION

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” ( Romans 5:12).

You were condemned, as all souls are, for your sins, before you ever thought of sinning against God by assuming those in Hebrew 6 were anything but lost.

The sin of suggesting those souls were anything but lost is as much a sin against God, as Adam's sin.

A soul must be in a State of sin, in order to act this sinfully and 'think' lies about God's Word, when it is that condemned State doing the sinful 'thinking'.

You began a thread to Testify that you are The Savior.

You have continually demanded that Jesus is not The Savior and incapable of Keeping a soul Saved.

The abominable blaspheme of the presumptuous sins and accusation against The God of The Universe is why Adam was condemned.

That condemnation is worthy of The Second Death in The Eternal Lake of Fire.

Tell us again how you're sorry that someone can't prove to you

... that You are Not The Savior

... and your denial of Jesus as The Savior is Anti-Christ.

Spam yourself to death with it.

Goodness Alan, This would have to be the strangest post I have ever read and your accusations have absolutely no truth in them whatsoever. I am sad for you.

Just stand before Jesus at The Judgment Seat of Christ and see if He'll let you tell Him that He doesn't know anything about a lost soul.

A rant does not prove anything.
HERREWS 6:4, ". . . those who were once enlightened, . . ." does not prove they were believers. Christ enlightens all of mankind, John 1:9, ". . . lighteth every man that cometh into the world. . . ." Hebrews 6:4-6 are not saved. Making a rant that they were does not change that rhey are not saved.

Sorry Alan I have no idea what you are talking about but it is true we will all stand before God's judgment seat for the Words of God we have rejected. How sad it will be for all those who did not know the day of their visitation when they had their chance to hear and follow God's Word but chose instead not to. God's WORD is not my word. You speak your own words which are not God's Word but your words. He that has received his testimony has set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God: for God gives not the Spirit by measure to him. There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed. Many are called but few are chosen.

Then do not do it. You have been provided God's Word you have no excuse not to believe it. Does this not worry you? If it doesn't it should. Only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow it.
Your denial of God's Word is noted but why leave out the rest of the scriptures that describe those of HEBREWS 6:4-8 being "ONCE BELIEVERS" that departed from the faith to return back to a life or known unrepentant sin. Here let's add them back in for you and maybe you can prove that these people were not "ONCE BELIEVERS"?

Let's look at exactly what these scriptures say...

HEBREWS 6:4-8 [4], For it is impossible for those (1) WHO WERE ONCE ENLIGHTENED, and (2) HAVE TASTED THE HEAVENLY GIFT, and (3) WERE MADE PARTAKERS OF THE HOLY GHOST, [5], And have (4) TASTED THE GOOD WORD OF GOD, and (5) THE POWERS OF THE WORLD TO COME, [6], (6) IF THEY (believers) (7) SHALL FALL AWAY, to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh and put him to an open shame. [7], For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes oft on it, and brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receives blessing from God: [8], But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is near to cursing; (8) WHOS END IS TO BE BURNED.

The following are taken directly word for word from the above scriptures...

    1. They were once enlightened; HEBREWS 6:4
    2. Having tasted of the Heavenly gift; HEBREWS 6:4
    3. They were made partakers of the Holy Ghost; HEBREWS 6:4
    4. Having tasted of the good Word of God; HEBREWS 6:5
    5. Having tasted of the power of the world to come HEBREWS 6:5
    6. THEY (BELIEVERS) FALL AWAY; HEBREWS 6:6
    7. THEY (BELIEVERS) renew themselves to repentance; HEBREWS 6:6
    8. THEY (BELIEVERS) by their sins crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame; HEBREWS 6:6

God's Word alone (not mine) says that these people who had "FALLEN AWAY" from the faith v6 (note HEBREWS 10:26:39 "TURN BACK; DRAW BACK to perdition"). These people were once enlightened to the truth; they tasted of the heavenly gift *EPHESIANS 2:8-9, they received the HOLY SPIRIT; They tasted of the good word of God. These scriptures are indicative of those who BELIEVED and FOLLOWED God's WORD. They received Gods Spirit but "TURNED AWAY; they DREW BACK (HEBREWS 10:26-39); they had FALLEN AWAY v6 and retured back to a life of known unrepentant sin v6 (see HEBREWS 10:26 that says the same thing; "IF WE SIN WILLFULLY AFTER WE RECEIVE A KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH THEIR REMAINS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SIN BUT A FEARFUL LOOKING FORWARD OF JUDGMENT.

Now brother, these are God's Words not mine and it is God's Word that WARNS us not to "TURN BACK; DRAW BACK to sin and FALL AWAY from the faith once we receive a KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH. The WARNING here is that BELIEVERS can become UNBELIEVERS. Can you see your error here? Sorry brother God's Word disagree with you. This is only sent in love and as a help to you.Sorry brother God's Word disagrees with you. HEBREWS 6:4-8 and HEBREWS 10:26-39 are in reference to those who were "ONCE BELIEVERS" and had fallen away from the faith to a life of sin to become "UNBELIEVERS". This is only sent in love and as a help for you so you may have a closer walk with JESUS. I hope you can receive this in the Spirit it was given (love)

Now it is God's Word not mine that says these people in HEBREWS 6:4-8 and HEBREWS 10:26-39 were "ONCE BELIEVERS" not me. Unless your trying to argue that those who are onnce enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, tasting the powers of the world to come were once believers? Yep sounds like your trying to argue against the Word of God to me.

Sorry my friend God's Word disagrees with you. Now why do you not believe God's Word that has only been shared in love and as a help to you?

    Look forward to your response.

You are a false accuser. Mere omissions of additional details is not a denial of those details! A rant that they were belivers does not make it so.
Tasting is not drinking it. ". . . when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink. . . ." -- Matthew 27:34. A case in point. There is no proof in Hebrews 6:4-8 of being a believer. Again, a rant that is so does not make it so.
