BHO clearly stated [in his answer to one of the reporters] that, "This was a good decision for the time being, and that he'd have to wait and see what happens after the elections." Of course this is not a word-for-word quote, but, in listening to his response to questions, it sure sounded to me that he would have to re-evaluate this decision [to leave Trinity] "after" the elections.

It doesn't really matter to me if he leaves the church, or stays, because I believe BHO is truly a radical black man that full heartedly believes in this black liberation theology stuff. Any American that thinks BHO will cease and desist his associations with Bill Ayers, Dr. Wright, Father Pfleger, Louis Farrakhan, and others that believe the white folks are still responsible for the sins of our fathers for years of slavery, is simply delusional.

First of all, both my wife and myself are fourth generation Americans, which means our great-grandparents came to America years after the issue of slavery was ended, so I don't appreciate Liberation Theology placing the baggage of slavery at on my doorstep.

Secondly, tons of Union soldiers died to put and end to slavery. They gave their life and limbs to end this sin against the black race.

Finally, it's time to put an end to the century's of anger and hate perpetuated by slavery. It's time to heal and move forward. Carrying a torch of hate for this long is beyond the point of ridiculous.

Liberation Theology will do only one thing. It will continue to place a torch in the hands of the black race for at least another generation. A torch of hate that burns hot for sins of past centuries. Their torch burns with the heat of rage toward people who are no longer alive, and this torch does nothing to propagate love and peace between the ancestry that lives today. To continue to carry this torch forward is not the solution. It only serves to divide and block any attempt to heal the chasms between the white and black race.

The American justice system brought an end to activities of the KKK, and it may take American justice systems to bring an end to activities of the Liberation theology movement.

A while back, BHO stated that there were pockets of Americans who were filled with anger, clinging to theirs guns and religion to get through life. I believe now that BHO was not referring to white folks, but, in truth, he was referring to those black folks in lock-step with the preachers and teachers of Liberation Theology at Trinity United Church of Christ and other churches like this.

So, I boldly predict that BHO will rejoin Trinity after he's elected to the office of President. And if he does rejoin the church, so what? Who's going to stop him? Will Congress and Senate move to impeach BHO for becoming a member of the church, again? Where the man goes to church is really no ones business.

America needs to get out of from under the "haze" and back into the SON-light. When we are able to clearly see the lies of enemy, then and only then, can that enemy be defeated.

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

Leaveing his church ahs nothing to do with non christian preaching and teaching, the need for a biblical church, it has to do with politics, nothing more. Once elected president he'll run right back to his pro african anti christian church.

And this is the truth because you thought it all up? Any proof, or just wishful thinking on your part?

The title of this thread is misleading. It states opinion as fact, as if it were a headline. In reality, it is speculation and opinion.

I don't think he will. Just a hunch. He will always have the church with him, but on paper, he won't be a member.

    Acts 1:26 (ESV)
And they cast lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthias, and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

I still think he will "return to the religion of his father" if elected and once sworn in.

    Yep. :)

I John 4:1 "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

Hey, he can join my church - as soon as he gets saved.

    (Oops - I can't say that, can I?)

I'll bet with you this: if he loses the election-- or the nomination; still possible but quite improbable now-- that he will return to that church within a year. If he wins the election, he will wait a full term (if he don't croak or get thrown out), then in 2012, the same bet again.

The loser has to post a voice recording singing his high school alma mater, "My Country, 'Tis of Thee," and the Bonanza theme song ;) .

But, see....that would be a wonderful thing, him truly getting saved and no longer believing in murdering children, wouldn't it? There would be a radical change in his life, a radical alteration in his position on certain things. Not just lip service to a generic christianity.

    Hmmmmm....

    Interesting thought. We'll see.

Although I doubt it matters what church he "joins" until he accepts Christ.

Who can say when, or even if, that will happen?

Casting lots or voting is not betting. It is just making a choice. If so, ever time the church decides anything by a majority, is betting. IMO

More loaded language. He has never advocated "murdering children". Supporting Roe v. Wade is not murdering children. But for some, abortion is the only issue facing our nation.

    Great Call LE

This was a great call. Sure it's an opinion, just like mine, but it could have validity, and it is possible that BHO may go one step further: he may wish to be sworn in on the Koran.
