Steve - this is off OP - but whoever said you have a MI - must be nuts:Thumbsdown!
I have found so many of your posts to be well thought out, critical thinking- reasonable, non-extremist and easy to follow.
When I get back to Fla, it would be my pleasure to meet you in person.
Anybody else in that area of Fla?
-- wait - is it legal to have more than 10
people get together?:D
Okay - need to start a savings account for my trip to Fla.:Cool
-- Will I need Sunglasses when I come?
I am Looney off medicine. But thank you for pointing out it doesn't seem like I have a mental illness. I would love to have a get together with others in central Florida. There are several here from the Baptist Board.
I wonder though, how many people could use medicine that ultimately makes one's neurons healthy and firing just fine? Is there mental illness going unmedicated among believers? Your average Charismatic message board makes me wonder.... I still need to get put on a medicine for restless leg, after that my neurons should have been sledgehammered back in shape. Then we'll have to deal with my tension headaches, which are not the brain but the muscles of the head getting taught and sore. Then, back to work! At last!
I dont see why you cant shoot someone with a projectile that injects a neuralizing agent into the body paralyzing them, such as being darted with a syringe. I understand getting them to stop moving fast is important, even when bullet shot
an enraged person getting shot that may not be enough to stop them from shooting back at you. Even have an AI targeting the suspect overhead which can shoot a criminal in such a way say if the officer is attacked. Another thing is identity monitoring, have any AI be instantly able to distinguish who is who. Obviously that ID process would involve something about the officer not a citizen.
Gunshot wounds are meant to be a terminal weapon. You can not reliably just wound someone and not have them still be a threat.
Oh yea you can... my dad proved that in Korea. Shot the guy right in the arse and dropped him. That guy was another American otherwise he would kill the enemy... so it begs the question, was this character an enemy or a redeemable? Apparently to some of you he was an enemy.
